UPHSL Participated in CHED SOAR Program on Internationalization
The University of Perpetual Help System Laguna (UPHSL) participated in the Synergy, Opportunities, Advancement, and Recognition (SOAR) Through Internationalization program organized by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) on December 15, 2025, held at the Grand Ballroom, Sherry–Chianti, Twin Lakes Hotel.
Representing UPHSL, Dr. Josefa G. Carrillo, Director for International and External Affairs, took part in the event, reaffirming the University’s commitment to advancing internationalization as a core component of its academic and institutional development agenda. UPHSL’s participation underscored its continuous efforts to align its programs and initiatives with global standards while strengthening partnerships with international and local institutions.
The SOAR program aimed to strengthen internationalization initiatives among higher education institutions by fostering collaboration, recognizing best practices, and providing opportunities for growth and global engagement. The event gathered academic leaders, international relations officers, and key stakeholders from various higher education institutions to discuss strategies that promote global competitiveness, cross border partnerships, and international academic mobility.
The program also served as a venue for sharing insights on international collaborations, student and faculty exchange opportunities, and the recognition of institutions that demonstrated exemplary practices in international engagement.
